WHO IS TRINI LEIGH KAKES??

💕Trini Leigh Kakes was created by Katrina Surella. 💕

I chose the name because my sister and I devised it when we were children inspiring to one day become either restaurant owners or fashion designers. We used Trini from my nickname and Leigh from her name Kelleigh. 💛
Cakes were more of our calling, we realised!
Sadly my sister passed away in 2019 leaving behind a husband and 3 gorgeous children. She was extremely talented, which was reflected in her cake decorating. After she passed I promised myself I’d learn as much baking skills as possible so that I could continue making her children beautiful birthday cakes.

I then chose baking as a creative outlet to balance my wonderfully busy life.

After a lot of encouragement from my truly amazing husband, family and close friends I launched Trini Leigh Kakes in February this year.

I absolutely love being able to produce for my customers unique masterpieces that won’t send you broke.

My secret ingredient is baking with LOVE. There is nothing better than treating a sweet craving with a delectable dessert. Or celebrating with a cake that is just divine visually and with loads of flavour.
